Drug and Alcohol Training for Doctors and Medical Office Personnel           Now Available!                                                                     

Our office is able to provide a training kit that will include everything you need to know to become a certified professional collector. Safelink Drug and Alcohol Testing has teamed up with NRCME Training Systems to provide your office an opportunity to add drug and alcohol collections to your list of DOT services. You will have the opportunity to have yourself and staff trained by our DATIA Certified Professional Collector Trainer (CPCT) without leaving your office. Once purchased, your office will receive training materials and supplies within a week, to become a certified drug collection clinic for DOT collections. You and your staff will be certified and knowledgeable on how to perform DOT drug screens and DOT Saliva Alcohol Tests (STT). The kits include workbooks, testing materials(2 workbooks included in price each additional workbook extra), split cups, and custody and control forms. After receiving the materials you will have 30 days until the testing date, which will be set up by our CPCT. You and your staff will have to each perform 5 error free mock collections to become certified. The test will consist of using Skype to connect with our CPCT, who will then certify your staff to become Certified Professional Drug Collectors and Saliva Test Technicians, after each staff member completes their 5 mock collections. During the 30 day period you and your staff will have full access to our CPCT and staff to ask questions.

DOT Physicals

Performed at our Breese, IL Clinic, We are able to offer appointments either that day or the next and no longer than a 10 minute wait. Call early and get your appointment today!

Post Offer Exam

This is a typical physical with a few added extras. The physical includes a cardiovascular, range of motion, and strength evaluation. This gives the employer a base of information that allows the employer to determine whether the candidate can meet or exceed the physical limitations and be the most capable candidate for the positition. Currently we use Jtech Medical equipment which is completely wireless and portable. The exam provides objective data that allows you as an employer to review a printout of the results of each function critical to the job you are hiring for. Fit for Duty Evaluation

This evaluation is performed to compare the capabilities of the individual, who would be returning to work, to the written job description. Matching the capabilities to the job description allows the doctor to determine if the individuals is physically ready to return to duty.

 

 


Designated Employer Representative (DER) Training Compliance Program

This training course is focused around all individuals currently serving as a DER and to other who actively participate in the employer's drug and alcohol testing program. It reviews Federal DOT drug and alcohol testing responsibilities of employers because the DER is vital to keeping the company in compliance with DOT regulations.


Reasonable Suspicion Training

We provide reasonable sucpicion training for employees, supervisors, and management to ensure that they have the knowledge and ability to determine whether reasonable suspicion exists to require an employee to undergo testing. The training consists of two-1 hour sessions on alcohol misuse and on controlled substance abuse.
